Applications for our Spring 2025 Internship are now open.

BW Productions is excited to announce we're accepting applications for our Spring 2025 Internship Cohort. The internship will start on January 13th, 2025 and end in late April 2025.

At BW Productions, you'll immerse yourself in the dynamic world of visual storytelling and gain invaluable skills that will set you apart in the industry. Throughout our internship, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and engage in hands-on projects that will enhance your understanding of various aspects of video production. We promise you won’t just get coffee!

Our internship program offers four different specialties. We have a producing, video production, and photography intern for our Spring cohort. You will work alongside other interns to learn the general concepts of video production, how BW Productions works, and what it takes to run a production company.

Each intern is paired with a mentor from our full time staff in their specific specialty area. You will receive one on one coaching and have to opportunity to take what you have learned and put it to use on set! We promise this isn’t just an office job!

Here are some of the basics:

What you’ll get:

• $10 an hour to learn and practice skills across the video production industry and be on set
• Opportunities to use creative skills learned on various projects ranging from small crews to large sets
• Access to a large inventory of professional equipment to make sure you are up to date with the newest tech and know how to use it
• Mentorship and connections with industry professionals
• A fun work environment that rewards hard work and commitment

‍Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• Desire to learn about corporate and commercial media production
• At least 15 hours a week with consistent availability
• Must be available on Mondays at 9:30 AM MT for team meetings, guest lectures, equipment trainings, and weekly workshops
• A reliable form of transportation to get to downtown SLC office and set locations
• Laptop for office days and possibly set days
• Must be 18 years or older
